Prairie Grove Clothesline Festival

The fair in its 66th year held on the grounds of the Prairie Grove Battlefield Park, located 12 miles west of Fayetteville, Arkansas, on Highway 62. Situated on a Civil War battlefield with historic buildings and a beautiful, lush setting with many shade trees, exhibit areas are housed in two tents (60’x 120′)as well as outside spaces.

With over 150 vendors and 300 booths this all handmade craft fair is one of a kind! The fair is sponsored by the Arts Center of the Ozarks (ACO) and the Prairie Grove Lions Club.

Exhibition Rules

Crafters must apply using the 2018 online Clothesline Fair application. This a juried show. The Prairie Grove Clothesline Fair is NOT a trade show or a fair for craft distributorships. It is a venue designed to highlight the fine work of artisans and craftspeople. All applicants, new or returning are juried by committee and will be notified of acceptance.

Only handcrafted work which has been made by the exhibitor will be accepted. Commercially made items, items made from molds, or items made from kits, will not be accepted. Food items may be accepted, but will require a copy of health certification from the applicant’s state Health Department. All concessionaires must contact the Prairie Grove Lion’s Club.

Friday September 1st from 7:00am to 5:00pm.

Exhibition hours:
8:30am to 5:00pm Saturday September 2nd
8:30am to 5:00pm Sunday September 3rd
8:30am to 3:00pm Monday September 4th

All booths must be set up and ready for customers by 8:15am each morning. All cars must be removed from the park ground and parked in designated parking areas by 8:15am each morning. NO vehicles will be allowed into, or may exit designated parking areas inside the park during fair hours (8:30am-5:00pm Saturday & Sunday, 8:30am-3:00pm Monday).

Gas powered generators are not allowed.

Limited security is provided overnight. However, the Arts of the Ozarks, the Lion’s Club of Prairie Grove, and the Prairie Grove Battlefield Park will not accept responsibility for damages, theft or loss.

Exhibitors adding an additional space from previous year, may have to be relocated.

Setup for this year’s event will be Friday September 1st from 7:00am-5:00pm. Vendors may complete setup on Saturday September 2nd from 7:00am-8:00am. Starting on Saturday, all vehicles must be moved to designated parking spots no later than 8:15am. Vehicles will not be allowed to enter, or exit the park during exhibition hours (8:30am-5:00pm Saturday & Sunday, 8:30am-3:00pm Monday).
